Exhibition at the Thurso Art Gallery

A new exhibition began at the Thurso Art Gallery, on 17th November. The theme is 'Change':

The gallery was threatened with closure, but it was reprieved after campaigning by the Society of Caithness Artists, and especially its chairman, Ian Pearson. This exhibition is being run as a trial, to see whether the society can successfully take over the running of the gallery from the local council. Hopefully it will be well-attended.

These are the three paintings that I have in the show:

View over moorland to distant mountains, rays of sunshine against a sky of clouds and yellow light
Winter Sunburst - Watercolour, 17 cm x 26 cm

A farm at the end of a snow-covered lane, with a dark sky and snow blowing across
Wind and Snow at the Farm - Acrylic, 20 cm x 26 cm
