After the Harvest - watercolour, 17 x 26 cm   Hay-making time doesn't last very long, so when I saw that this field had been cut I went straight out to paint it. I'm glad I did, because I had only just finished when the farmer came back to collect the bales.

In Glenmore Forest

In Glenmore Forest - watercolour, 35 x 25 cm   The Glenmore Forest is a remnant of the Caledonian Forest that once covered much of the Highlands of Scotland. The mixed woodland consists mostly of Scots Pine trees, with some other native species, and is protected as a nature reserve.
