An Inlet on Loch Calder

This was one of those unexpected subjects, which caught my eye when I had set out with the intention of painting something else.

It is interesting that they often turn out to be better paintings. I suppose it is because of the fact that they are unplanned and therefore I am working purely out of inspiration.

Nevertheless, I like to have a subject in mind, because if I wait to be inspired there is a danger that I will spend all my time looking for something to do.
