More Cotton Grass

"Sunlight and Cotton Grass" - watercolour - 18 x 26 cm

More cotton grass; at the southern end of Loch Calder. It's a popular place with fishermen, but it also has an interesting mix of marshland and heather moorland. Brawlbin Farm sits on the edge of it all.

Hi there Keith!... This one reads like a summer lullabye... soft... quiet and restful! I could simply lay down on that shoreline and smell the sea contentedly.

What a wonderful sketch to salute summer's departure... and restful grandure! A gem!

Good Painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

Once again, a beautiful painting, and, once again, those fantastic lines of colour. Thank you, Keith.

Hi Bruce, it is indeed a restful scene. I'm glad to see that things are buzzing for you at the moment though, and that you are out of the summer doldrums now.

All the best,
Keith
