Forsinard Flows
Forsinard Flows
Watercolour

One of the best places to find out about the Flow Country is the RSPB's 'Forsinard Flows' nature reserve. This extensive area of peat bog is the nearest we get to true wilderness here in Britain. Large parts of it have been planted with commercial forestry in the past, but the RSPB are working to clear the trees and return the bog to something like its natural state.

Outstandingly... yet deceptively simple! So much... with so little!
That lone bird in the foreground really adds to the vast loneliness and complete sense of wildness! Wonderful!
Good painting!
Warmest regards,
Bruce

I find I get the most satisfaction from these really simple pieces.
All the best,
Keith
Unfortunately I could not see the video link, "not available on your area" ... I do not know if it like this for everybody in France. It will take one day I make a trip to this beautiful country portrayed in your watercolor
You certainly know how to paint in watercolours, I love this one and your last two paintings, all are wonderful paintings. Sorry I missed then. All the best keith.

love the simplicity which is very strong and the perfect placement of the bird...
