Landscape Paintings by Keith Tilley
Hello ther Keith!... What a nice surprise to find on (still) cool Mother's Day here in Canada! What a wonderful... sensitive study this one is... really captures the new life... animal and land both! A very insightful viewf of life on a highland farm!Enjoy that sunshine Keith... as we are here!Good Painting!Warmest regards,Bruce
Thanks Bruce. I suppose it's quite an appropriate subject for Mother's Day!All the best,Keith
Wow this a strange one for you!But I do like it, although it could all be a little more dynamic compositional I mean. Never the less I really do like this (strange) work the common things are just as 'paintable' as the 'painterly' things.Goed gedaan!!p.s. worked something out?
It's not really my kind of subject René, but with all those lambs in the fields I just had to try and paint them!I've sent an email to Dineke, but we haven't planned anything yet.
Hi KeithWhat a nice painting, I like this image a lot, even if it is a bit of a departure from your usual subject matter.
Very nice painting Keith and a very different subject matter and in acrylics too! I think I may have seen an acrylic of yours before in the framing/gallery shop in Inverness I believe the painting was Eilean Donan castle or perhaps another castle it was last autumn I believe.
Hello Caroline, I did have an acrylic of Eilean Donan Castle in Inverness, so that probably was the one that you saw.
I really like this. I like the contrast between the soft textures of the sheep and landscape against the mechanical lines of the tractor. It works very well.
Yes, I hadn't thought about that John, but it is a nice contrast.
hey that is different keithvery crisp and lovely light!
